Today, major updates were posted to the Governmental Collectors Association
of Texas (GCAT) Website http://www.GovCAT.net.
These changes, commissioned by the Board of Directors in April, are
intended to improve the website's mission of providing a means of disseminating information to the general
public, and specifically current and potential association members and
vendors of accounts receivable management & collections solutions.
The website was designed and
developed by Revenue Plus, a division
of Columbia Ultimate (http://www.revenueplus.net), with content
provided by the GCAT Board of Directors.
The updates include:
- a new "look and feel"
- New organization,

- the ability to Search all site content
by keyword
- The ability to easily provide email Feedback
directly to the Board of Directors
- a News page where new updates to the site
can be quickly seen for repeat visitors
- Interactive discussion groups where members
can post content (such as employment opportunities) & can have
threaded conversations about important topics
- Account and password secured members only area
(Yahoo Group) where members can share confidential information,
membership database, group calendar, files, photos, and participate
in electronic polls on association topics, etc.
- A list of useful web hyperlinks for
association members to aid in collection activities
